Finally, A Sunny Saturday...

Hey guys! So this morning was finally a day where I was able to sleep in. I got up at abou 11am and me and my roomie Amee got up, made ourselves some breakfast, and went running with our friends Nick and Issac. I had a tough time keepin up, it's the first time I've gone running in awhile, but it felt real good, like it always does:) There were a bunch of students who are on the crew team that were practicing on the river, it was cool to take a break and watch them. One our way back Amee pointed out a dragon fly on the bridge! It was the biggest dragon fly I've ever seen, so pretty much Jimmer was checkin up on me:) I told her how special dragon flies and bull frogs are to the fam and told her all about Miah man too. She's really sweet, today is actually her birthday, so myself, her and a couple other girls went out for a sandwich today at this really good cafe in town. We just got back a little bit ago, and we're planning on having some people over to order some pizza, should be fun. We have had rain, every single day since I got to Ireland, but luckily today we woke up to beautiful blue skies! It was such a better day!!! So there ya go Aunt Linda, I'm really missin the west coast heat wave, that's for sure! I hope everyone's weekend is goin great so far.
Love ya...dia duit!

Kelly,

This is your second cousin Eddie Carper. Your Grandpa Jim and my dad are brothers. I'm the one who lives up in the Sacramento area near your Aunt Leann and Uncle Jerry.

I was down to visit my mother (Marie Carper) and your family was having a BBQ at Linda and John's place. They were kind enough to have Marla, my wife and myself over. They were telling me of your going to Ireland. How fantastic!! What a great opportunity and hughly enlightening. Of course your roots lead back to the emerald isle someplace. I am into genealogy but have not dealt with it for quite a while. I told your Mom that I had a map of Ireland that showed where many of the family names like Kennedy, Sulliavan, and others, came from. These were clans originally and many counties were eventually were named after them. Unfortunately the map must be in storage as I have not been able to located it. I was wanting to send it to you.

Are you looking for relatives? What little bit of your blog that I have read, I'm really happy that you are having this oppourtunity. Take pleanty of pictures and write many notes. I agree with the anonymous writer before me, about keeping your blog up even whtn you get busy. It will serve you well when you return and this fantastic period of you life passes to memory. Well enough, take care of yourself and soke up everthing. Ireland just went up a few places on my list of places to go.

Your cousin Eddie

Hi KelBel!
It's been so nice to read your blogs! I so want to go to Ireland now more than ever!! We went camping on the 4th and also saw a DragonFly! (that's a long trip from Ireland to Big Bear!! :)) I know that it must be hard to be so far away, but you are always close, right in my heart! Keep having fun! Keep living it up!
I love you!
